  • Restricted - prior permission required for all aircraft except BASE-ASGN, DSN 847-9650/9651/9652 C720-847-9650/9651/9652; Minimum 24 hour NTC require and no more than 7 days prior to arrival. HVY bird ACT DUR peak migration periods (bash phase II MAR-MAY and OCT-NOV) may pose A potential HAZ to aircraft, especially DUR morning/Evening hours. All other months phase I.   • Caution: HVY coml traffic on denver intl runway 35 ILS course between 6500 ft & 12,000 ft 2 NM E of buckley. HVY unctl GA traffic from centennial 9 NM southwest. Traffic is concentrated FR surface to 10,000 ft S, southeast and E of buckley Class D airspace.

  • Landing illusion exists on short final runway 14. Terrain rises short of threshold then descends for 2000 ft creating illusion of aircraft being HI on final and excessive ground rush. Extra caution should be used DUR NGT landing.
