Remarks
- Fuel: flight crew required to assist in refueling. J5(military). Fluid - W, SP, presair.
- Caution - bird HAZ on approach runway 10 or runway 28 departure. If takeoff and landing data permits, recommend conducting all flight operations to/From the east side of the runway.
- Restricted: no aircraft maintenance available. Taxiway line restriction located at intersection of taxiway echo and delta. Continues (west) onto the WARM-UP pad does not provide wingtip clearance to aircraft with wingspan greater than 60 feet.
- Be alert to ocean vessels with mast aprx 125 ft periodically located at mooring buoys 3600 ft W of threshold runway 10.
- Arresting gear - (runway 28) hook BAK 12B (4921').
- Miscellaneous: remote weather briefings available H24 FR 17 OWS at DSN 315-449-8333/7950 or 448-3809, 2HR NTC RQR for timely brief. When NML satcom O/S, imarsat is available. Space available passengers are NA to RON.
- Restricted: prior permission required for all aircraft at least 24 hour in advance. Prior permission required phone only DSN 424-2101, C808-424-2101, fax DSN 315-424-2165, C808-424-2165, or E-MAIL: baseops@wakeisland.NET.
- Restricted: very limited operations status, available for emergency landing and minimum priority traffic.
- Traffic pattern: RGT break runway 10 all aircraft, left break runway 28 all aircraft.
- Tran alert: svcg fees RQD. Tran service hours 1900-0500Z (0700L-1700L) TUE-SAT. Closed SUN, monitor, HOL. LAV service unavailable.
- Miscellaneous: etops divert location. Firefighting services reduced to nfpa CAT 7, ARFF index C.
- Caution: afld has mixture of regular and LED obstacle light. LED obstacle lights may not be visible to some NVD.

- Restricted: emergency divert aircraft outside publ afld hours, contact FAA controller at oakland ARTCC to arrange base operations/ATC specialist personnel recall via wake fire dispatch at fone 808-424-2911 PRI or 808-424-2232 SEC.
- Contact wake island airport operations on 128.0/349.4.
- Service - fuel: aircraft refueling at pwak: site arrival require must be obtained from 907-552-5781 and submitted for apvl prior to arrival.
- SERVICE-LGT: several obstacle light O/S: controlling obstacle light tower 101 ft AGL aprx 1700 ft S of runway 28 threshold.
- Runway - caution: 4 ft X 8 ft area of gradual pavement rise (hump) of aprx 2 inches located 2300 ft E of approach end runway 10, 40 ft RGT of cntln.
- Airport will be considered A joint use airport open to civil aircraft subject to military reqrmnts.
