Remarks

  • No turbojet aircraft practice ldgs 2200-0700.
  • Bird ACT in the vicinity of all runways & taxiways & in the vicinity of airport.
  • Air carrier apron closed to unscheduled aircraft weighing under 35000 lbs.
  • No edge lights on N/S section of taxiway V - reflectors only.
  • Hold line runway 20 east side located across runway 34 150 ft from departure end. Hold line runway 20 west side across taxiway A & also serves as hold line for runway 16; Signage indicates both runways.
  • NON-RDO equipped vehicles crossing midfield taxiways C, E and H and driving on taxiway L.
  • The following areas are not visible from the tower: portions of the air carrier apron; Air National Guard aircraft prkg ramp.
  • Due to the close proximity to runway 02/20, taxiway uniform signage may be behind aircraft, once clear of runway 02/20.
  • RIC has facility constraints that limit ITS ability to accommodate diverted flts and strongly encourages aircraft operates to contact airport operations at 804-226-0001 for prior CDN of diverted flts, except in the case of A declared IN-FLIGHT emergency.
  • Taxiway V between taxiway A & taxiway R rstrd from use by aircraft with wingspans greater than 99 ft.
  • No taxiing between pushed back aircraft and the terminal on the air carrier ramp.
  • Due to operate constraints aircraft pushed back for departure prohibited from hldg on air carrier ramps for more than 5 minutes.
